I got a call saying my prescription had arrived. It wasn't here when I showed up. Next, I was sent to another Walgreens location. I was told they had my prescription in stock, which they did not when I arrived. Days later, my prescription arrived. I was forced to wait in the Walgreens for over half an hour because the employees didn't know where the pharmacist was. Overall a very frustrating experience. I will no longer use Walgreens pharmacy.

I had a prescription submitted and received a confirmation text. After a couple days of silence, I checked in for an update and the prescription was lost. No record of it being received or heads up that there was an issue. I called in to the pharmacy, and after dealing with the terrible AI’s questions for a bit got transferred to a technician, who asked the same questions as the AI. They saw there was a missing prescription and forwarded me to the Pharmacy. I was then put on hold. The insane hold music interrupted itself every 20 seconds (I actually timed it) just to tell me the staff was all busy, and that there were 3 people ahead of me. After 95 minutes they blissfully changed to just regular holding music. But it took almost 2 hours and I they never picked up. It felt like a psy op. I called at 3:30 and by the time they finally picked up I had left work and was halfway there to talk to the pharmacist myself. That means they were averaging less than 1 call every 30 minutes. I had heard “we’re sorry, our staff is answering other calls” over 270 times. 0/10, beleive the other reviews, switching back to CVS

I picked up my prescription today, 12/30, at approximately 7:45 PM. The employee working the drive-through was extremely unprofessional. She rolled her eyes at me, gave me a hostile stare, and responded with silence when I said, “I’m sorry, I didn’t hear you.” My window was up when she returned with my medication because it was about 12 degrees outside and I had my children in the car. She appeared to ask me a question while my window was up, which I could not hear. Rather than communicating clearly or asking me to lower my window, she reacted with visible frustration and refused to engage. This behavior was unacceptable and inappropriate for a customer-facing role. I expect respectful, clear communication when picking up a prescription, and this experience fell well below that standard

The rating is for the company, not the employees. They're severely understaffed, so everyone is on edge all the time because it's a struggle to get anything done. Everything sucks. I haven't had issues getting incorrect medications like some comments mention (I'm not dismissing them at all, just giving my experience), so make of that what you will. The company doesn't let you call a pharmacy location directly, you first have to tell their robot 3 times that you want to speak to the pharmacy, then it sends you to a central call center, then they finally send you to the location. So talking to a human who has the info you want turns a 3 minute phone call into a 30 minute phone call. Increasingly I just go to the store in person because it's less frustrating and quite often faster in real time than calling. Again, everything sucks.

Pharmacy is literally picking up and hanging up the phone. Almost every other Walgreens pharmacy in the country I have called, I speak to someone. This system routes you to a call center, then they route you locally for them to hang up on you

After I submit a refill request on the website, my medication is frequently cancelled for no apparent reason. Furthermore, there are constant stock shortages; I haven't received the daily medication I need to take for over a month now. It is absolutely terrible.

I’ve visited this Walgreens pharmacy at various times of day — mornings, afternoons, and evenings — and have never waited less than 30–50 minutes in line to pick up a prescription. It often seems that the technicians are split between the drive-thru and the front counter regardless of how long the in-store line gets, and at times, I’ve noticed staff working on other tasks in the background while customers continue to wait. The result is a very long, frustrating wait even for simple pickups. The staff appear to be doing their best but seem clearly understaffed or overwhelmed. This location has been convenient for me, but the experience has been such a hassle that I’m seriously considering transferring my prescriptions elsewhere. I hope management can take a closer look at staffing and workflow at this location — it would make a big difference for customers who rely on the pharmacy regularly.
